I spent over 20 years in corporate leadership, including CEO roles across finance, education, aged care, and business development. I was successful by every traditional measure - respected, well-paid, capable - but inside, I was carrying far more than I wanted to.

I was trying to balance being a mum to three boys with ASD and a daughter who was navigating the joys of being a teenager, whilst living the whirlwind life of a FIFO wife. Not to mention I was a daughter, a sister, an aunty, a friend - the list goes on. Wearing all these hats just left me feeling exhausted, empty, resentful and not liking who I had become.

After leaving corporate to create freedom, I built and scaled multiple six-figure businesses working less than 15 hours a week. Along the way, I learned what most high achievers discover too late: without intentional design, even your own business can become just as consuming as the job you left.
